After much uhmming and awhing, decided to enter the image of the hunched seated model in the Hornsby Art Prize this year.
I considered this one – which is my preference but it just didn’t have it in the frame. Needs a background colour to push it out, I think?

I have no idea what their real names are but I know which one is probably the more relaxed.

Midweek evening, flowers in hand. Love token? Peace offering? Commiserations? There is confidence in the posture but the umbrella suggests that this is someone who arrives prepared for a sudden turn in the weather.

This lady had a lot of presence. She dresses entirely in black, most of the time.

Spotted this man on the train last week. Great face, lots of character and the hat was cool. Not sure I quite captured the face and what looks (in the sketch), like a bandanna around his neck, was actually the collar of his tee-shirt. It’s not often you spot someone wearing a hat like this and a tracksuit but today was my day.
