Got the feeling this lady was an academic, although it’s hard to say exactly why – most people read work-related stuff on the train and that’s probably what she was doing at the time. The multiple bags and satchels caught my eye.

More reading. This time in a black, combat-style jacket. Doubt it would last long in a military scenario somehow but that’s fashion for you. No idea what she was reading. Art of War, maybe?

This man wore not one but two pairs of glasses and would alternate between them, depending on whether he was reading his newspaper or just staring ahead, into the evening ahead or the day behind; who’s to know?
