Self portrait

Was waiting for a train in St Leonards. Saw myself in the reflection of some windows or something opposite, so thought, ‘may as well draw myself for a change’. Not that I could use this for ID purposes. I can’t quite remember if it’s the case but I tried to do this as one line from beginning to end.

  1. I like the lines form the panel of the bench – and how they connect with the shape of the person

Yes, I think it’s one line. It’s an interesting way to draw. I’ve also tried to bring it into my painting but it’s a lot harder to do with paint (you have to keep reloading the brush).

Looks like one line to me, Antsketch. What a cool idea for a self portrait. Many of your drawings look like a continuous line approach like you are using your pen to closely feel the contours and scroll all over the form. I find them very interesting and enjoy looking at them.
