What's in the bloody papers, eh?

Nothing! That’s what. Humph. Should have expected as much. Honestly, don’t know why I bother. News? This isn’t news, it’s just rubbish. Michael Jackson? What’s he got to do with anything? Why can’t they write about important things. I have half a mind to write to the editor. Probably can’t read. Humph.

      Truthfully, it’s not a conscious thing. I think that drawing in public places, such as the train, where you don’t have a lot of time to get absorbed in detail helps. You simultaneously loosen up and learn to pick out the major characteristics that define a pose or mannerism – often without realising it’s happening.
